Hey everyone. Applying to General Surgery next year. I have 4 honors so far with an H in surgery. 2 more rotations left to go. My step score is a 24x and I go to a mid-tier medical school on the east coast. Have a great personal story for surgery but have been involved in many research projects that have not been published yet.The program directors at my school had a panel and the surgery guy specifically said not to try to stand out with a personal statement that goes against the mold.
